Langguth Wines' recently re-launched brand Blue Nun is to support a TV sponsorship deal with 24-hour cable, satellite and digital channel, Turner Classic Movies.

Langguth Wines' recently re-launched brand Blue Nun is to support a TV sponsorship deal with 24-hour cable, satellite and digital channel, Turner Classic Movies.

It will sponsor the Thursday night 9pm film strand and the Sunday 3pm matinee film strand, showing a range of classic films that appeal to the core audience of predominantly men and women 45yrs+.

The brand re-launch includes a new premium range of German varietals: Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Dornfelder Rosé and Pinot Noir, and new packaging.

The communication of brand message through TV sponsorship 'bumpers' will run in two bursts from April 17th - end of June and again from October - December to capitalise on pre Christmas sales.

It will also be supported at point of purchase with an on-pack consumer promotion in the Autumn, via neck collars offering tickets to the TCM Film Festival in LA including flights, accommodation, travel and spending money.

In the UK, TCM averages 4.2 million viewers tune in to TCM or TCM2 each month.

Blue Nun is in 14% volume and 20% value growth MAT to January 2011 - AC Nielsen.
