Somerset gastropub wins Good Hotel Guide gong

The Lord Poulett Arms in Hinton St George, Somerset, has been named Gastropub of the Year in the latest edition of The Good Hotel Guide.
A total of 10 properties were awarded with a Csar in the annual awards, including The Capital in Knightsbridge, London, picking up Hotel of the Year, and Hipping Hall in Cowan Bridge, Lancashire, winning Country Hotel of the Year.
The latest edition of the guide does not include a "budget" section, which previously recommended hotels under 35 a night. In its place is a "value" section.
