Cloof opens UK office

South African producer Cloof - a Shiraz specialist based in the Darling region - has set up a UK office.
Commercial director Oscar Foulkes said: Cloof currently has a presence in the UK market, but we feel the brand's profile is not as high as it could be. We took the decision to set up a dedicated UK office at the end of 2005, as we see this as key to Cloof's development and success here.'
Stuart Lawson - ex-Beringer Blass, where he looked after regional sales for two years - has been put in charge of Cloof's UK operation.
