Thresher Group's marketing director, Kevin Styles, and head of merchant brand development, Helen Munday, are both leaving the off-licence chain later this year. Styles, a Thresher Group board member, is joining B&Q as director of format development, while Munday is joining HwCg as director of marketing and PR. Munday replaces Deb Worton, who will stay on as a non-executive board member of HwCg while she pursues other interests. Her first activity will be driving a lorry-load of books and false breasts to Belarus, a country that suffers from meagre school supplies and a high rate of breast cancer (due to the after-effects of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster). Following that, I plan to indulge in a couple of my passions - sailing and renovating houses,' said Worton. Styles leaves Thresher in December, and Munday takes over from Worton at the end of November.
