The Robert Mondavi Winery has poached the president and chief executive officer of fellow California wine producer Delicato. Eric Morham is believed to be replacing Russ Weis, Mondavi's vice-president international, who owns a vineyard in Priorato in Spain and has decided to concentrate on developing its wines. At the time of going to press Mondavi had neither officially announced the appointment nor stated exactly what Morham's formal job title is, although word of the appointment was circulating at the London International Wine & Spirits Fair last month.
