Novum takes on India's Fratelli Wines

Novum Wines has taken on Fratelli Wines from Akluj, Maharashtra, in order to strengthen its position as the leading importer of Indian wines.

Fratelli Wines is an Italian/Indian joint venture comprising three sets of brothers: the Secci brothers, Andrea and Alessio; the Sekhri brothers, Kapil and Gaurav; and the Mohite Patel brothers, Ranjitsinh and Arjunsinh.

Overseeing the vineyards and the "state-of-the-art" Italian winery is Piero Masi, the former estate manager of Isole e Olena; consultant to Castello Vicchiomaggio; and owner of Azienda Agricola Colmano, Piero Masi.

Its vineyards cover 97ha around the town of Akluj (190km south of Pune) and the wines imported are: Classic White 2011, Chenin Blanc 2011, Chardonnay 2011, Classic Red 2011 and Cabernet 2011.

The full range will be available to taste at the LIWF on Halgarten Druitt & Novum Wines' stand (J15).



Novum Wines is also the exclusive importer and distributor of Sula Wines (India's largest premium wine producer).
