HARPERS' MAGNIFICENT SEVEN

Harpers' staff and contributors have been nominated for seven awards at this year's Le Prix du Champagne Lanson Awards - four more than any other drinks magazine. Tim Atkin MW (Harpers/ Observer Food Monthly/ Observer Magazine), John Stimpfig (FT How to Spend It/Harpers) and Margaret Rand (Harpers/Wine Magazine) have been nominated for The Lanson Wine Writer of the Year Black Label Award. Giles Fallowfield (Harpers/The Times/ Decanter/Wine Magazine) and Neil Beckett (Harpers' 2002 Champagne supplement) have been nominated for The Lanson Champagne Writer of the Year Noble Cuve Award. In the Lanson Wine Presentation of the Year Award Jon Wyand (Harpers/ Decanter/Wine Spectator) and Bob Barkany (Harpers) have been nominated for their photography.
