NOW DUVAL-LEROY SIGNS TO MATTHEW CLARK

Champagne Duval-Leroy (UK) Ltd and Matthew Clark Wholesale (MCW) have agreed an exclusive on-trade distribution arrangement, to take effect immediately. Matthew Clark Wholesale will distribute the Duval-Leroy Fleur de Champagne range, Ros de Saigne, Paris' (with a Leroy Neiman label) and the 1996 Blanc de Chardonnay Brut. Duval-Leroy's UK director, Mike Hothersall, said: This agreement will help to strengthen our position in this important sector of the market, which now accounts for nearly one-third of our total UK branded business. During the last 12 months our on-trade sales have increased by more than 60%,' said Hothersall, and our Champagnes are now listed in all Le Mridien and Hilton Hotels, and the owned and managed Holiday Inn properties.'
