Molson Coors (UK) has become agent and distributor of the Rongopai wine range, from New Zealand's, Babich.
Dating from 1932, Rongapai is classed as one of the country's oldest wine brands and has the Maori name, meaning 'good taste & good feeling'.
From November 2010 Molson Coors will list a range of four wines; an unoaked East Coast Chardonnay, a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, a Pinot Gris and a Hawke's Bay Merlot Cabernet.
Robert Hilton, wine buying controller at Molson Coors said: "David Babich and his team are committed to creating a fantastic range with an emphasis on quality. The Rongapai brand has great heritage and offers our customers a unique proposition, demonstrating our commitment to offer the UK on-trade the best one stop drinks range."
This latest relationship with Babich's Rongapai brand follows Molson Coors forming partnerships with AdVini and Gallo, a recent sourcing agreement with Bibendum and listing Chapel Down's Sparkling wine range.
