D&D London has announced it will open two new restaurants in the new Trinity Leeds retail complex.
The agreement with Land Securities is to develop and operate the two restaurants, with associated bars and private dining rooms adjacent to the main shopping centre.
Opening in spring 2013, its restaurant interiors will be designed by Conran and Partners, that designed D&D's London restaurants Coq d'Argent and Skylon.
It is anticipated that the venues will comprise a modern French restaurant together with a bar and grill serving principally British food.
Des Gunewardena, chairman and chief executive officer of D&D London, said: "This is an important venture for us. We have always thought that Leeds would feature prominently as part of our plans to expand in the UK outside London. It is a city where people enjoy eating out and Leeds has a significant and sophisticated business scene."
