Jacob's Creek links up with Wimbledon

Jacob's Creek will be the official wine of Wimbledon from 2011 through to 2015.

Premium Wine Brands has signed a five year agreement with The All England Lawn Tennis Club under which the Australian brand will be the exclusive pouring wine at the annual tennis championship.

The partnership will be supported by activity based on the brands recent True Character campaign in key markets across the world including Australia, USA, New Zealand and the UK.

Jo Adamo, global marketing director for Jacob's Creek, said: "Wimbledon is an international icon and offers great exposure in all of our key markets. It captures the imagination of millions and as such provides a wonderful opportunity to align Jacob's Creek with the hearts and minds of spectators around the world."

Mathew Bird, head of marketing for wine at Pernod Ricard UK, added: "Specifically for the UK market this association provides a fantastic opportunity for us to highlight the diversity and True Character of the Jacob's Creek offer to consumers including our new premium Jacob's Creek Regional Reserve wines."

The new Jacob's Creek Regional Reserve wines will be available in UK stores from this month.
