Drinkaware signs up fresh talent for its board

Drinkaware has announced three new trustees to its board including Mark Hunter, chief executive office of Molson Coors Brewing.

Drinkaware has announced three new trustees to its board including Mark Hunter, chief executive office of Molson Coors Brewing. The three will work with other trustees to help drive the strategy of the alcohol awareness charity.

Hunter is also vice chairman and a board director of the BBPA (British Beer and Pub Association), a member of the Portman Group Council and President of the ISBA (Incorporated Society of British Advertisers).

He is joined on the board by Ted Tuppen CBE, chief executive of Enterprise Inns who is also vice president, and former chairman of the BBPA.

Helen Humpreys, director and founder of Acorn Communication Consultancy is a specialist in strategic communication and and issues management. She was previously director of communication at United Biscuits.

One of the key objectives of the Drinkaware Board is to ensure the organisation provides a high return on industry investment, by bringing together skills and expertise from various fields.

Derek Lewis, chairman of Drinkaware, said: "We are very pleased to welcome our new trustees to the Drinkaware Board.
