James Murray, exhibition director at the London International Wine Fair said it was too soon to tell whether a flight delays caused by volacanic ash will have an effect on visitors and producers.
London airports, Heathrow and Gatwick, reopened at 7am today but were operating limited flight schedules and warned of possible further delays and cancellations.
The LIWF takes place between Tuesday and Thursday this week.
Murray, exhibition director, LIWF and Distil said: "It's too early to say whether the current travel issues will affect attendance at the fair, however this is clearly a concern. It is a matter that is out of our control and we can only hope that disruption is kept to a minimum. The one thing we do know is that the trade are a resilient bunch and will do all they can to attend."
