Leading opinion-makers believe its time has come to be in the limelight. This is a World Premiere.
On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June 2010, wine professionals from 21 countries will converge in the Southern Rhone, France, for the world's first symposium on Grenache, the most widely planted red grape in the world, and the most important in economic terms. Organised on a non-profit basis, this 'G-21 Summit' of 100+ top winemakers, critics, merchants and experts, including top publication editors , world-renowned producers from the Old and New world and 10+ Masters of Wine, will meet to shape the future of Grenache. They will for the first time work together in a highly collaborative way in order to find creative solutions to face the challenges in existing and emerging markets.
Taking place at La Verrière, a top-end venue for seminars and encounters dedicated to wine, it is hosted by Domaine du Mourchon and Chêne Bleu Wines, and sponsored by Inter-Rhone, Riedel, Wine Academy of Spain and Harpers Wine & Spirit.
