Romanian Winegrowers has launched a UK focussed website for people who are looking for new and interesting wines.
It has been created to provide the trade with clear, up-to-date and newsworthy information on its wine industry and the generic wine body hopes it will become the first port of call for the trade.
The site will provide information on the country, its wine regions and grapes, latest news, facts and figures, awards and a range images which can be easily downloaded.
Director of Rumpus, Paul Evans, who has worked alongside a Romanian agency in developing the site, said: "The Romanian Winegrowers body incorporates the top producers from the key regions, so we have had a wealth of information on which to create the site. We can now continue to keep the trade up-to-speed with accurate news and initiatives and believe the site will become a very valuable resource."
"We also believe that demand for information on Romanian wines will increase significantly over the next decade. With buyers targeted at hitting price points, while also sourcing new and interesting wines, Romania has surely got to be high on the agenda."
