KRUG CELEBRATES 40 YEARS

As part of Henri Krug's 40th anniversary celebrations, the Champagne house is offering a chance to bid for a piece of history' at Sotheby's in London on 16 October. A 24-bottle case is up for grabs, offering Champagnes spanning Henri's 40 years. It contains four Krug vintages, nine bottles of Krug Collection, nine of Clos du Mesnil and one each of Krug Ros and Krug Grande Cuve. Henri Krug has signed the 1962 Krug Collection, marking his first year at Krug. The bidding is expected to reach in excess of 6,000, with the proceeds going to the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Centre in London. The unique case captures Henri's contribution at Krug over the years,' said Rmi Krug, Henri's brother.
