Phil Laffer, the chief winemaker at Jacob's Creek, has been named Australian Winemaker of the Year 2002. Laffer has been with Jacob's Creek - which was named as the UK's seventh best-selling drinks brand in this year's AC Nielsen off-trade figures - for the past ten years.
