Grape joins Seagram's gin range

Published:  05 March, 2009

Pernod Ricard has added a grape flavour to its Seagram's Twisted Gin range in the US market.

The new product joins a line-up that comprises raspberry, apple, lime and orange flavours.

Abegail Domond, brand director at Pernod Ricard USA, said product innovation and increased merchandising support had added 6% to Twisted Gin sales in the past 12 months.

Domond added: "Given Seagram's size and scale this growth has helped spur overall growth of the gin category.

"The addition of grape - one of the most popular and growing mainstream flavours gives retailers yet another way to capitalise on the momentum and profitability of the Seagram's brand and the gin category."
