New man at top for Louis Latour

Dan Townsend has taken up the position of managing director of Louis Latour Agencies UK.
Townsend, who replaces Alexander Nall who retired in the summer, has held senior positions at Scottish & Newcastle, Matthew Clark and Constellation Europe. He told Harpers he was planning to develop Louis Latour's brands and "get his hands dirty, going out and meeting customers".
Asked how his background with drinks giant Constellation would benefit Latour he admitted: "It's a very different business. Constellation is a massive global player and Latour is a family owned business. But they are both successful and there is more than one way to run a successful and profitable business."
