Vironneau for CIVB?

The controversial president of the Syndicate of Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur has been tipped to take over the presidency of the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB).
Alain Vironneau is the leading candidate to step forward among the growers following ngociant Christian Delpeuch's decision to step down. Vironneau was the man behind the attempt to block AOC Bordeaux wine being sold for less than 1,000 a tonneau - a tactic fiercely criticised by Delpeuch.
