.......as CRANSWICK CHASES WOMEN WINE DRINKERS

Cranswick Premium Wines has launched a range of wines aimed at 25+"modernist" women. "Image" comprises: a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, a Chardonnay, and a Verdelho - all Australian. They come in metallic painted bottles - pink, mauve and green, with silver labels. Cranswick claims that recent research has identified two distinct groups among 25+ women drinkers: "Romantics", who "assume traditional roles" and see wine as "something to be savoured and enjoyed, primarily with food";and "Modernists", who "don't tend to take life too seriously" and regard wine as "for enjoying any time". Cranswick says that Image embodies the "Modern, under-stated cool, stylish, expensive, elegant, feminine and glamorous".
