Virgin Atlantic has partnered with distilled non-alcoholic spirit brand Seedlip and Fever-Tree to launch what it claims to be the first onboard no and low cocktails menu.
The new menu comprises two non alcoholic cocktails; Red Sky at Night – a Seedlip Spice and Fever-Tree Indian tonic blend, and Shepherd's delight - a Seedlip Spice and Fever-Tree ginger ale mix, alongside two low alcohol options; The Bold Mule, which is made with Regal Rogue Bold Red vermouth and Fever-Tree ginger ale, and The Bold Spritz - a Regal Rogue Bold Red vermouth and soda mix.
Created to offer customers choosing not to drink alcohol onboard a “grown up option with unique flavours”, the quartet is available now across economy, premium and upper class cabins.
With the global trend of no and low alcohol cocktails, Seedlip and Regal Rogue were the “perfect partners” to bring this option to Virgin Atlantic customers, said food and beverage manager Mark Murphy.
“There’s a big focus across the airline industry on reducing the amount of alcohol consumed in flight, and we’re delighted to be leading the way by offering our customers across all cabins a selection of zero and low alcohol alternatives.”
Seedlip founder Ben Branson said: “Virgin Atlantic is renowned for its world class cocktail offering and we’re so proud to be part of it. As a brand we champion inclusivity, flavour and experience over ABV and so we look forward to bringing an exclusive selection of cocktails to guests when they’re travelling.”
