Michelin-starred Tamarind Mayfair re-opens following refurb

Indian twists on classics, original cocktails and a wine list that travels far and wide will accompany the refreshed menu when this Michelin-starred Indian restaurant reopens this month. Tamarind Mayfair earned its stripes as the first Indian restaurant in the UK to be awarded a coveted Michelin star back in 2001.

Now, the restaurant is preparing to unveil its brand new look after an eight-month refurbishment, with two newly appointed executive head chefs Karunesh Khanna and Manav Tuli heading up the kitchen. The drinks list will be as flavourful as the menu, with classic Indian ingredients saffron, turmeric, kokum and tamarind bringing touches of stylish spice to Mayfair’s high-end restaurant circuit.
