The family behind the award-winning Bar 44 tapas outlets says it is going back to its roots, with the launch of a venue in Bristol’s vibrant Clifton Village next month. Adding to the exciting mix of food and drink experiences already available in the city, Bar 44 Bristol – described as a “unique take on modern Spanish dining” – is the brainchild of Tom, Owen and Natalie Morgan. It is 16 years since the family opened the first Bar 44 and it has been a key name in the UK’s modern Spanish dining revolution ever since.

Bar 44 will provide a combination of seasonal dishes, made with ingredients from both Spain and the UK. The 100% Spanish drinks list will feature rare sherries, Gin Tonicas, bespoke Spanish cocktails and interesting wines from all corners of Spain.
