Hangingditch, the innovative Manchester merchant headed up by Ben Stephenson, is marking its tenth anniversary with a two day tasting event this autumn in Manchester Cathedral.
The company, which has become known for its lively annual festival mixing it up with live music and wine, has upped the ante this year with a two-day consumer fair in conjunction with the Wine Gang on 27 and 28 October.
This brings together well-know wine writers David Williams, Joanna Simon, Anthony Rose and regular Harpers contributor Jane Parkinson, who will be on hand to lead tasting sessions, masterclasses and wine walkabouts.
Wines, beers and spirits from the typically quality-focused and sometimes eclectic Hangingditch portfolio, along with food, will complete the scene.
