Roederer winners

John Stimpfig beat a shortlist of fellow Harpers contributors to pick up the International Wine Writer of the Year prize for his work in the FT: How to Spend It supplement at the inaugural Louis Roederer International Wine Writers' Awards, presented at Vinexpo earlier this week.

Other winners at the event were: Richard Juhlin, International Champagne Writer of the Year for his book 4000 Champagnes (Flammarion); John W Haeger, International Wine Book of the Year for North American Pinot Noir (University of California Press); and Liz Sagues, Regional Wine Writer of the Year, for her work in the Ham & High.
