Free Run Wines has launched L'Olivier (Olive Tree'), a Syrah/ Mourvdre blend from the Minervois appellation in southern France.
Money from each bottle sold will be donated to the Tropical Forest Trust, to raise funds for pygmy colonies in Africa, as well as other communities affected by deforestation around
the world.
Free Run Wines director Nicolas Bauer says: The name is perfect, as it builds on the olive branch as a symbol of peace, and honours the olive trees that protect the vineyard.
Naturally, the wine also had to be organic.' L'Olivier will retail for 4.99.
