Ridgeview Wine Estate featured on YouTube web series

A premium sparkling winemarker on the South Downs will take centre stage during the fourth instalment of a YouTube film series focusing on craftsmanship.

As of today, (Tuesday), Sussex-based Ridgeview Wine Estate, founded by Mike and Chris Roberts, is featuring as part of The Craftsmen's Dinner, a six part short film series on video-sharing platform YouTube.

The YouTube film series sees multi award-winning chef Michel Roux Jr meeting and discussing the secret skills of six talented craftsmen and women, including Mike and Chris Roberts, one of the only knife makers left in Britain, a music-loving salmon smoker, an organic farmer and a potter.

Ridgeview was founded in 1994 and the Roberts' vineyards specialise in growing classic grape varieties to make premium bottle fermented sparkling wines.

They have won a number of national and international medals and trophies, most recently at the Texsom International Wine Awards in the USA last month.

The film series has been put together by The Balvenie, makers of single malt whiskies crafted by Malt Master David Stewart.
