Grand Marnier launches limited edition Le Café Parisien bottle

Published:  20 October, 2015

Grand Marnier has announced the latest in limited edition collection range.

Le Café Parisien will come dressed in a bottle in the orange-and-cognac liqueur's signature red. The bottle will also feature a gold design that echoes the Art Deco era of the 1920s.

The period saw the creation of the Cosmopolitan cocktail and the crepe suzette, both inspired by Grand Marnier's distinctive flavour profile.

The limited edition collection was established in 1927.

The Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge Le Café Parisien is set to launch in mid-October in time for the holiday season.

It is the thirteenth addition to Grand Marnier's limited edition collection.

The bottle will be available nationwide, at an RRP of £18 for 50cl.

Cognac exports have rebounded strongly this year, with shipments worldwide up 20.7% year on year.

LVMH recently reported quarterly sales of its Hennessy cognac up 23%.

At Rémy Cointreau, however, organic half-year sales were down 5.9%, despite the successful launch of its travel-retail exclusive Cointreau Blood Orange.
