2015's Australia Day tasting will showcase more than 1,000 wines and offer a fresh take on food and wine pairings, say event organisers.
The event is scheduled for January 27, in London's Lindley Hall, where 213 wineries will be on display.
Wines from across Australia will be shown on 53 exhibitor stands, including from South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. Aside from established UK sellers, there will be a number of wineries seeking distribution.
Wine Australia will also host four pop-up food and wine matching stalls, each wine matched with a pair of dishes created by Michelin-star chef Roger Jones from The Harrow at Little Bedwyn.
Jones, who also created a matching food menu for wines last year, will front the kitchen with his team and will be available to talk to guests about the food and wine pairings.
Wine Australia UK events and education manager Emma Symington said the Australia Day Tasting will build on the success of 2014's revamped event.
"The feedback we received confirmed that guests were impressed by the new-look Australia Day Tasting earlier this year," she said.
"There was renewed energy and excitement in the room about the future of Australian wine from both guests and exhibitors and we want to continue that momentum in 2015.
"The UK remains Australia's largest export market and the Australia Day Tasting is one of our key opportunities to demonstrate the diversity of Australia's 65 wine regions. There really is no such thing as a typical Aussie wine, each region has its own expression and we produce the widest range of styles in the world."
The UK/Europe team will be joined by Wine Australia's general manager - market development Stuart Barclay and a number of key players and winemakers from the Australian winemaking scene.
