Famous Cognac house Rémy Martin is opening a members' only club in London for two weeks from November 25- December 6, 2014 .
The move is a first for the brand, and Soho will see La Maison Rémy Martin, with its two bars and a shop covering four floors, open at the end of November. The pop-up will also host a series of workshops and allow visitors the opportunity to meet high profile mixologists.
The first floor will be the VSOP Bar & Lounge which will have some of London's big name mixologists, including Agostino Perrone from The Connaught, Erik Lorincz from The American Bar at The Savoy and Alex Kratena from the Artesian. The bar will offer a bespoke cocktail menu designed specifically for the venue.
The second floor will be a retail space with the opportunity to sample and buy Rémy Martin Cognacs, including special edition and rarer bottles. The space will also be used to host masterclasses on site.
The third floor will be a gallery that will display selected pieces of the Cognac brand's Futur Heritage project. The project is a collaboration between Rémy Martin and the Swiss university of art and design ECAL. Ten masters students explored the theme of mixology and created modern pieces of art that reflect their interpretations of Cognac consumption.
The top floor will feature the Rémy Martin XO lounge which will feature Rémy Martin XO serves.
