The International Wine Challenge 2015 is now accepting entries from the first tranche of applicants from now until October 30, 2014.
Last year was the first time that the IWC allowed for two submission windows. The idea was that producers and marketing people would find that an earlier entry system was more convenient given their own production timelines, particularly in the Southern Hemisphere.

"The timeline for Tranche one this year will announce medal winners on December 2, 2014. This could be a great selling tool for those winners trying to make the most of their holiday offerings," said Alex Redfern, IWC wine specialist.
Last year was the first year the competition allowed for different timelines and of the 10% for the IWC were submitted in Tranche one. "We are up on entries for the Tranche one over last year at this time. I think more people are taking advantage of the different dates and have a better understanding of the new time frames this year," said Redfern.

All medal winners will be judged together in a final tasting that will be held in late April 2015.
