The House of Krug is to release Krug Rosé in magnums for the first time.
Thirty years after the first bottle of Krug Rosé left the cellars, Krug is now shipping the first bottles of rosé in magnum format. The first three magnums of Krug Rosé were recently auctioned in Singapore with all proceeds being donated to the Room To Read charity. Three Magnums of the Krug Rosé and three Magnums of Krug 1998 were sold, raising almost £7,000.
The Krug Rosé Magnums are currently available at London based New Street Wine Shop, Oblix and The Arts Club, and, according to the Champagne house, they will be available at other Krug accounts in the next few months.
The off-trade price is £600.
