CyT UK in sales and marketing restructure

Distributor of North and South American wines, CyT UK, has completed a period of restructuring across the business in a bid to develop business across all trade channels.

Distributor of North and South American wines, CyT UK, has completed a period of restructuring across the business in a bid to develop business across all trade channels.

The changes include the reorganisation of the sales teams and a new marketing function. The most significant is the introduction of commercial manager roles. Nicola Hale, former CyT UK marketing manager takes the role of commercial manager for Cono Sur, Isla Negra and Fairtrade winery, Los Robles; Rachel Herrig joins from PLB and will be heading up CyT's global brands portfolio (including Frontera and Casillero del Diablo); Jessica Scarratt, also from PLB, takes on CyT's premium portfolio (including Marques de Casa Concha and Don Melchor); and Vijay Baldwin, formerly at Wella and Constellation, is the commercial manager for CyT's Argentinian winery Trivento, as well as Viña Maipo and Palo Alto.

They will be responsible for managing the entire business relationship for their winery portfolio in the UK market.

CyT UK general manager Simon Doyle, says: "CyT UK has been successfully operating for over 12 years now and we have grown significantly since we set up in 2001. We have given a huge amount of thought to the changes and have taken our time to ensure that we are adding to our strong team to take CyT UK into the next phase of its development."
