LA VIGNERONNE CLOSES

After 22 years, Liz Berry MW and her husband Mike have sold their famous Old Brompton Road shop in London, La Vigneronne, to James Handford MW, who will shortly reopen it as a second retail outlet to Handford Holland Park. The Berrys, based in France, plan to develop La Vigneronne as a shipper and wholesaler of a wider range of wines. They have assured customers that existing orders will be delivered as normal. Handford has retained two staff at the shop and will continue the tastings.
