Iberica restaurant to open Iberica Canary Wharf

Spanish restaurant, Iberica is to open its second site in Canary Wharf this month.

The new restaurant will accommodate up to 130 guests, is set over two levels and comprises of a main restaurant with two open mezzanine floors which will provide semi-private event spaces for 30 and 50 guests.

Iberica's executive chef, Nacho Manzano - who holds two Michelin stars at his mountain restaurant, Casa Marcial, in Asturias - and his protégé and head chef, Cesar Garcia, have created a menu that is designed for sharing.

A combination of traditional classics, signature dishes (honed from three decades of experience) sit alongside more contemporary and innovative dishes and have resulted in a menu of tastes, temperatures and textures aim to create an exceptional and exciting dining experience.

Manzano said: "Canary Wharf is a great contrast to our Marylebone restaurant and offers a unique environment in London. I'm looking forward to bringing Iberica to a whole new audience."

A unique feature of the restaurant will be the opportunity to become members of Iberica's Wine Custody Service.

In collaboration with Pinkleton & Wine, members will be able to buy exclusively sourced wines to store in Iberica Canary Wharf's professional wine cellar.

Members can then enjoy their purchases either in the restaurant for a nominal corkage fee, or to take away and drink at home.

Scheduled to open on the November 21 it is located near the DLR station at Cabot Square.

Its partner restaurant is situated in Great Portland Street.
