Grey Goose announces new partners for charity ball

Published:  31 October, 2011

Grey Goose Vodka is celebrating its sixth year of supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation with the announcement of new partners, that includes the world renowned restaurant, elBulli.

Other partners include: Christian Louboutin, the fashion guru famous for his scarlet-soled shoes, and artists Marc Quinn and Jonathan Saunders, all of which have helped design a collection of new cocktails for the annual Grey Goose winter ball on October 29.

Each partner cocktail is designed to explore the Ball's theme, 'The Architecture of Taste', whilst using only the finest ingredients and capturing the spirit and personality of the partner that inspired it.

The unique cocktails are: Grey Goose elBulli Martini, Grey Goose Red Carpet, created with Christian Louboutin, Grey Goose L'Oeil de la Poire ('eye of the pear'), created with Marc Quinn and Grey Goose The Blue Print, created with Jonathan Saunders

Guests at the ball will also be treated to spectacular molecular canapés and a four course meal designed by elBulli, marking the world's best restaurant's first service in the UK.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

To further celebrate the elBulli Martini will be available for four weeks at three Gordon Ramsay Restaurants - Maze, York & Alabany and Bread Street Kitchen until the middle of November where £1 from the sale of every cocktail will go directly to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Grey Goose marketing controller, Mark Holdsworth, says: "This year's cocktail selection demonstrates molecular know-how and unparalleled attention to detail, exquisite French craftsmanship, a provocative play with the senses, and lastly the ability to marry bold design with sophisticated flavours, mirroring all that Grey Goose stands for.

"We are delighted that the elBulli Grey Goose Martini will be available at three of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, helping us to raise further funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation".
