English wine producer Chapel Down sees sales fall after recent poor grape harvests

English wine and beer producer, Chapel Down, suffered a 24% sales volume drop due to smaller yields from the 2011 and 2012 grape harvests. It has, though, increased overall sales revenue by 4% by raising the average selling price of its wines by 10% during the past financial year.

Pernod Ricard posts €127m net sales loss in Q3

Pernod Ricard, which released its Q3 financials today, posted a net sales loss of €127 million for the nine months of the 2013/2014 financial year, which is down 7% compared to last year for the same period, primarily due to heavy declines in Asia and other emerging markets.

Liv-ex survey finds 'significantly less demand' for Bordeaux 2013 wines
