Chambord seeks talented bartenders and chefs

Chambord is offering the UK's most talented bartenders and chefs the chance to have their cocktail or culinary creation served at a major drinks industry event in London.

Now in its second year, the Chambord Rendezvous competition invites professionals to enter recipes containing the liqueur in six categories - an aperitif, an after dinner drink and the Chambord Rendezvous signature cocktail; and a starter, main course and dessert.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on September 13 at London's One Mayfair, where the winning entries will be served to guests. At the party, Edith Bowman will be returning as celebrity DJ and comedian Russell Kane will be host for the night.

The judging panel of spirits experts includes Simon Difford, Andy Pearson, Michael Butt and Alex Turner from the Bacardi Brown Forman Training Team.

The six winners will be taken on a luxury trip to Paris and the Loire Valley to see where the black raspberry liqueur is made. The prize will also include a vintage car trip, sunset river cruise, boat ride and food and wine tasting.

The Chambord Rendezvous is open to everyone from the UK drinks industry to register for the guest list, and is held as an annual 'thank you' for all their support."
