Benevolent charity cycle team complete day two

The second day of the Benevolent cycle ride to Champagne sees the charity fundraising team on their 130km ride from St Omer to Peronne.

Organised by Mentzendorff, the team consists of Mentzendorff's Andrew Hawes and Alan Montague-Dennis, plus William Reed's drinks managing director, Andrew Reed, WaverleyTBS's head of wine, Neil Bruce, Eddie Hart of the Hart Restaurant Group, Ian Harris of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and financier Jamie Alsopp.

Also supporting this sixth annual trip to Champagne is ex-Mentzendorff chairman Bill Page and current Mentzendorff employees Rebecca Morrison and Lucy Roberts.

In the second blog Ian "Bomber" Harris talks of the the team suffering from chafing, other aches and pains, plus a trouserless Andrew Reed.

The team have beaten their target donations of £3,000 and currently stand at £3,127.
