Whatever happened to Turkish wine? At a time when Greek wine has gone stratospheric in terms of quality, volume and interest – and other countries in the eastern Mediterranean such as Cyprus, Lebanon and Israel have seen an uptick in interest and quality despite ongoing wars – Turkey seems, if anything, to have gone backwards.
