Harpers Design Award 2020 Open for Entries

Published:  14 May, 2019

With developments in technology and social media, the look and design of product packaging has never been more important in demonstrating brand values and giving cues to the quality of the liquid inside.

Buyers across both the on and off trade sectors are therefore seeking to work with producers and suppliers who invest in the packaging and design element of their offering to help them stand out on shelves and back bars, while also drive awareness through a range of social media platforms.

For companies able to show how their products are meeting these high expectations The Harpers 2020 Design Awards are now OPEN.

Products will be judged based on the criteria of initial impact, target market concerns and the product’s overall aesthetic - in other words, does the final product measure up to the brief?

You may enter a single product or a range of products open to all wines, spirits, pre-mixed drinks, beers, ciders. We will collate the entries and order into the following categories for each product type:

Individual product: Sub categories: New product / Established / Repackaged

Product Range: Sub categories: New product / Established / Repackaged

Best Design Agency of the Year: This award will be decided based on number of products vs medals received and value of those medals.

In October we will be gathering together a prestigious panel of designers and key on and off trade buyers to assess all the entries and deliver their expert opinion on which products have proven themselves worthy of a medal place and deserve to be category champions 2020.

The full results will be published in Harpers Wine & Spirit and as below also available to view all year round from www.harpers.co.uk.
