Gordon Ramsay’s new Mayfair restaurant Lucky Cat, poised to open this summer, will specialise in Asian small plates and robata grilled dishes designed to be shared.
Described as a “vibrant Asian eating house and late-night lounge”, the outlet will incorporate a raw bar serving sushi and sashimi, with the cocktails menu putting an Asian spin on classics. These include the geisha – a mixture of vodka, sake syrup, yuzu and egg white with a portrait of a geisha on top – and the lucky negroni, which is served over hand-carved ice with the mix of gins, vermouths and bitters determined by the rolling of three dice.
A selection of Japanese gins and more than 40 premium sakes will also be on offer alongside wine, beer and whisky.
