London Cocktail Week relocates main event

Published:  30 August, 2018

London Cocktail Week has moved the heart of the festival – The Cocktail Village, to The Old Truman Brewery to accommodate a growing number of visitors.

The new site will play host to three spaces featuring creative cocktails from some of the biggest names in drinks in addition to a new space set to showcase smaller emerging brands from around the UK.

In another first for the festival, which runs from 3-7 October, VIP packages will be available to provide cocktail fans fast track entry to The Cocktail Village, a free drink, and access to special VIP only areas.

“With our tenth birthday just around the corner, we’re excited to warm up with this year’s new additions and hope fans of London Cocktail Week and new-comers will fully immerse themselves in a vibrant week, jam-packed with top class cocktails, parties, pop-ups and more,” said Hannah Sharman-Cox, founder of London Cocktail Week and Drink Up London, which runs the event.

In addition to The Cocktail Village, London Cocktail Week will feature a timetable of parties, masterclasses and supper clubs as well as self- guided Cocktail Tours, with more than 300 of bars across the capital taking part by offering festival pass holders specially created cocktails for £6.

To promote the growing trend for mindful drinking, venues are also encouraged to offer a lower-alcohol option, as well as a non-alcoholic option, for £4.
