Conviviality has teamed up with winemaker Brent Marris to bring Leefield Station Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris to the UK for the first time.
The duo from Leefield Station, which is the latest release from Marisco Vineyards, is available now from Matthew Clark and Catalyst PLB.
Developed to continue and build on the Marris family winemaking legacy, the range is steeped in the history of the region and is a celebration of an iconic Sheep and Beef Station in the heart of the Waihopai Valley of Marlborough.
Conviviality said it had “jumped on the opportunity" to work with Marris, the man behind brands such as Wither Hills and The Ned, on his latest exciting project.
“Conviviality is now the go to UK agency for brands looking for wide reaching traction across both on and off-trade markets and Brent Marris is one of New Zealand’s most successful and most decorated winemakers,” said Andrew Shaw, group wine buying director.
Described as “fresh and vibrant”, the wines were set to “please and over deliver on value for money” in the UK, said Marris.
“We are excited to be launching Leefield Station into the UK with Conviviality this year. After successfully trading in this market for many years with The Ned – it has always been our goal to launch into the on -trade. To have the opportunity to work with such an established distributor will help us achieve this goal.”
