Wine Rack has signed a three-year deal with Channel 5’s The Wine Show.
The deal with the show, which is back on TV now, will include The Wine Show recommending a selection of Wine Rack wines throughout the year, while encouraging viewers to explore new tastes and countries featured in the series.
In addition, presenter Joe Fattorini will provide his unique take on each recommended wine, along with tasting notes and food matching suggestions to help guide customers on “their voyage of discovery”, with Fattorini also featuring on Wine Rack’s marketing material.
Partnering with the show was a “great opportunity” for Conviviality-owned Wine Rack to showcase its wine and engage with consumers looking to learn more about wine, said marketing director, Adam Burnett.
“Wine Rack aims to remove barriers and help customers explore their current favourite grapes and regions, whilst also helping them to discover new favourites too. Wine is all about perfect pairings and our new partnership with The Wine Show is just that,” he said.
Melanie Jappy, director of programmes for The Wine Show, said: “We are always looking at different ways to introduce new experiences to viewers of The Wine Show and our partnership with Wine Rack will introduce an inspiring range of wines which draw on Joe and the team’s journeys around the world.”
The Wine Show airs every Friday at 7pm on Channel 5. There will be a total of seven episodes, each one-hour long, following the team’s wine journey’s in the south of France.
