Champagne Armand de Brignac appoints new UK importer

Published:  19 December, 2017

Champagne Armand de Brignac has appointed New Generation McKinley (NGM) as its new exclusive UK importer for the brand, commencing 1 January 2018.

NGM, which takes over from Cellar Trends, will import and distribute the producer's complete range of prestige cuvées across all formats to both the on and off-trade.

NGM’s portfolio of fine wines and spirits and its “skilled team”, made it the perfect partner to further build the profile and business of Champagne Armand de Brignac in the UK, said CEO Sebastien Beasson.

"The UK continues to be a key focus for Armand de Brignac, as it remains one of the most powerful and influential champagne markets in the world,” he added.

Available in limited quantities around the world, the Champagne Armand de Brignac collection comprises Brut Gold, Rosé and Demi Sec alongside single varietals Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs, with the prestige cuvées crafted by 13th generation wine growers in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne in Champagne’s Montagne de Reims.

The “exceptional quality and individuality” of the prestige cuvées produced by the family-led winemaking team was “truly remarkable”, said NGM MD, James Booth.

“The opportunity to introduce these iconic cuvées to our highly discerning customer base was one which excited and intrigued us and we look forward to working with the team to further develop the UK market,” he said.

The NGM portfolio includes Boekenhoutskloof, Reyneke and Porseleinberg, Pegasus Bay, Alpha Domus and Auntsfield, Inglenook, Bourgogne de Vigne en Verre, Château Tournefeuille, Château la Mascaronne, Domaine Gayda, Churchill’s, Cousiño Macul and Champagne Janisson.
