Moët & Chandon appoints Jason Atherton as UK brand ambassador

Published:  26 September, 2017

Moët & Chandon has appointed Michelin star chef and restaurateur Jason Atherton as its UK brand ambassador for the next two years.

In his new role, Atherton will collaborate with Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez on creating a series of exclusive events over the coming months, including a bespoke Grand Vintage Rosé menu for early 2018, said the Champagne house.

Atherton’s qualities of innovation and excellence made him the perfect ambassador for the brand, said Moët & Chandon.

“Being able to combine the expertise and craftsmanship of a world-renowned chef with that of a world-renowned winemaker to create culinary experiences is something unique and exciting and we look forward to bringing these to our consumers in 2018,” said Julie Nollet, UK marketing & communications director.

Atherton said: "The Moët vintage has such depth of flavour, with each release so different, and I am having a lot of fun matching our menus with the different years and look forward to creating exciting events and developing new ways to showcase the collection.”

As part of the partnership, the new Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Cuvée 2009 will be listed in a select few of Atherton’s UK restaurants from October 2017.
