A five litre launch

Published:  08 April, 2009

Rhône producer Vignerons des 4 Chemins will launch its first range of 5 litre bag in the box at the London International Wine Fair 2009.

In a response to current tough ecomimic conditions the new bag in the box range aims to combine quality and value for money.

Branded with brightly coloured Vignerons des 4 Chemins logos for instant appeal, the 5 litre boxes are designed to bring a touch of summer to wine shelves.

The new range offers British consumers a wide choice of quality wines from Southern France - Vin de Pays d'Oc available in classic varietals of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blance, Syrah rosé, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, plus Baronnie de Sabran, three Côtes du Rhône wines - red, white and rosé.

Nadine Cattanea commercial and marketing director for Vignerons des 4 Chemins said: " British consumers may be going going out less during difficult economic times, but they still want to enjoy wines at home with friends and family.

"With our new bag in the box range we have taken up the challenge and are ready to capitalise on these opportunities.

"Vignerons des 4 Chemins is part of a new generation of French wine producers who are not afraid to innovate.

"We can offer British consumers well-structured, mouth watering Southern French wines at affordable prices - real value for money without neglecting quality."

The 5 litre bag in a box recommended retail price £16.99- £18.99

Baronnie de Sabran 5 litre bag in a box £33.89- £37.89.
