Japan's leading boutique sake brewery, Akashi-Tai, is introducing 300ml bottle sizes across its portfolio alongside its range of full sized bottles. The smaller sizes have been developed to recruit both trade and consumers to the sake category and encourage existing consumers to experiment with the diversity of styles across the portfolio. The 300ml bottles are also targeted to on-trade establishments wishing to list sake, but with low by-the-glass volumes, to ensure quality of stock is maintained.
